(2) Driven by individual features of functional brain signals, the stimulation platform can automatically regulate brain activities in real-time to achieve active, precise, and closed-loop training of motor, cognitive and emotional functions.
There are more than 20 million stroke patients in China with more than 5 million new patients each year. Our products target the patients who survive a stroke but are left with motor, cognitive, or emotional function deficits. The potential market size is around 100 billion RMB.
The market pain points are the inefficient, passive, and limited rehabilitation programs for stroke patients who are urging individualized, efficient, and active rehabilitation training. Currently, the neural rehabilitation methods in hospitals or rehabilitation center heavily rely on physical training, which is costly but inefficient. Our products are brain data-driven and automatically initialize brain stimulation based on individual brain features. Based on the mature research work on brain-computer interface, cognitive neuroscience, and brain stimulation in the past 10 years, our products enable doctors and therapists to design precise rehabilitation prescriptions for stroke patients.
